Chanel will return to the Eurovision Song Contest to perform on the first day of the festival on May 7 in Malmö, Sweden.

The singer and representative of Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Chanel, will appear as a guest in the first Eurovision semi-final in Malmö (Sweden) next Tuesday, May 7, along with two colleagues who also took part in the competition, Eleni Foureira, representative from Cyprus in 2018 and Eric Saade from Sweden in 2011.

Chanel, Eleni Foureira and Eric Saade, accompanied by 24 dancers, will perform the slogan “United by Music” of this 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which this year will take place on the 7th and 9th (semi-finals) and on Saturday 11th, perform and represent on stage (the final), according to RTVE, which highlights that the presence of the three artists who took part in the Eurovision competition in previous editions “shows” how their participation in the competition has allowed them to achieve their to consolidate careers.

They will show “how artists who take part in the world’s most important music competition can have great careers, as the three have gained a large number of followers around the world by representing their countries at the Song Festival without having to win the competition .” RTVE points this out.

Eleni Foureira took second place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with her song “Fuego”, giving Cyprus its best result to date and also the highest number of points with 436 points, reaching second place.
