Oppo has launched its Find X9 Ultra smartphone in Germany with a 200-megapixel Hasselblad-tuned main camera and a starting price of 1.699 euros, approximately $1,840.
The device became available immediately through Oppo’s German online store, bundled with a free Aramid Fiber Magnetic case featuring a power bank mount and a choice between Wi-Fi or 5G versions of the Oppo Pad 5 tablet.
Two color options are offered: Tundra Umber and Canyon Orange, with the former designed to echo the dual-tone aesthetic of Hasselblad’s X2D 100C medium format camera through a split leatherette rear panel.
The Find X9 Ultra features a prominent, angular camera housing that accommodates five rear sensors, including a 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 main sensor measuring 1/1.12 inches, an f/1.5 aperture, and optical image stabilization.
It as well includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto sensor with a 230mm equivalent focal length, enabling a claimed 10x optical zoom and up to 20x lossless zoom, complemented by a Hasselblad Master Set accessory kit containing a 300mm teleconverter, filters, mounts, and a carrying case.
Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with 12 to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, matching specifications found in competing flagships like the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra.
The 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display delivers a resolution of 3168 × 1440 pixels at 510 ppi, supports a variable refresh rate from 1 to 144Hz, and reaches up to 1800 nits in high brightness mode with peak brightness of 3600 nits, although maintaining visibility down to 1 nit.
Powering the device is a 7050mAh silicon-carbon battery, significantly larger than the 5000mAh cell in Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra, enabling 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Weighing 236 grams, the Find X9 Ultra carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, including resilience against high-pressure water jets, and has passed the Swiss SGS five-star drop and shock test.
Notably, the device lacks Qi2 magnetic charging support, meaning it cannot magnetically attach to accessories like power banks or wallets despite the included case having magnetic elements.
How the camera system compares to previous Oppo Ultra models
The Find X9 Ultra’s camera ring is visibly larger than that of the Find X8 Ultra, reflecting the increased sensor size and complexity of the new Hasselblad-tuned array, while the shift from circular to angular glass covering the module marks a departure from prior designs.

What the Hasselblad Master Set adds to the smartphone experience
The optional accessory kit transforms the Find X9 Ultra into a modular photography system, allowing users to attach teleconverters, filters, and grips via standardized mounts, effectively extending its utility beyond conventional mobile photography.
Why the absence of Qi2 charging stands out despite magnetic accessories
Although the bundled case includes a magnet for power bank attachment, Oppo did not integrate Qi2 compatibility into the phone’s rear, limiting seamless magnetic charging and accessory ecosystems compared to rivals like Apple’s MagSafe or Google’s Pixel devices.
Is the Oppo Find X9 Ultra available outside of Germany?
The sources confirm availability in Germany via the official Oppo shop but do not specify international rollout details or pricing in other markets.
How does the battery capacity of the Find X9 Ultra compare to other flagship smartphones?
At 7050mAh, the silicon-carbon battery exceeds the 5000mAh capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and is among the largest in current high-end smartphones, supporting extended usage despite the power-hungry display and processor.
