The composer Pablo HerreroCo-author of songs like “A kiss and a flower” O “Like a wave”has died at the age of 81, according to the General Society of Authors and Editors (SGAE), an organization of which he was vice president.
“We regret to inform you that our beloved Pablo Herrero has passed away. As a composer and lyricist, he was a partner in this company and had almost 800 works registered.“said the copyright authority.
Author’s paradigm: After being part of Los Relámpagos together with “his inseparable” José Luis Armenteros, he dedicated himself to writing for other artists who popularized his songs: “A Kiss and a Flower”, “Free”, “Eva María”, “Freedom without Anger” O “Like a wave” among other things.
“It formed an essential repertoire of Spanish music. His essential legacy will always be with us. “Our love goes out to his family and friends,” the SGAE noted.
