Seckou Keita releases “African Rhapsodies”, a fusion of African and Western music

Seckou Keita, tireless defender of the kora with 80 concerts a year around the world and millions of streams, has released an extraordinary 13th album. In African RhapsodiesThe Senegalese combines the 22 strings of his Mandinka harp lute with a European symphony orchestra. Together with the BBC Concert Orchestra, one of the most eclectic in the UK, he fuses African and Western music in ten radiant tracks.
