Carlos Franganillo now has a successor at the helm of the second edition of “Telediario”. Marta Carazo (Madrid, 1973), TVE correspondent in Brussels since August 2020, will be the new presenter of the 9:00 p.m. news program, replacing Franganillo, who moves to Telecinco. Carazo, who in this last phase covered “Brexit” or the reaction to the war in Ukraine and interviewed, among others, the Secretary General of NATO and the President of the European Parliament, can look back on an extensive career spanning 25 years in the group.

For this work, last year she was awarded the prestigious Salvador de Madariaga European Journalism Award in the television category, an award presented by the Association of European Journalists, the European Commission Representation in Spain and the Parliament’s office in Madrid. In 2009 he moved to “Telediario” to report on the royal family. In 2012 he moved to the Economics department, which he was responsible for from 2018 to 2019.
