He doesn’t understand why his biological parents could have left him. Jasmine suggests that Constance may have had a maternal rejection, especially as Axel recalls his aunt being upset when she read the email. Axel joins his parents who are planning their visit to the Taste Festival. For his part, Ethan decides to confront his mother one last time by revealing to her that he overheard her telling Teyssier that she doesn’t need him for a father. Annabelle explains that while Emmanuel was considered as a donor, the project was not successful. She reassures her son: if he wants, he can start looking for his biological father. If Ethan knows the end of the story, Constance’s pregnancy in 2000 remains a mystery and Axel wants to know more. He questions his cousin, who tells him about a photo of his mother posing pregnant in the famous year. Théo begs him not to tell his parents, but Axel decides to investigate and goes through his aunt’s belongings. He finds the photo and it’s a cold shower: Constance, heavily pregnant, is taken with Lola. The latter is said to have been pregnant at the time, but this is not the case. Is Axel the hidden son of the Teyssiers?
While still at the institute, Louis surprises Olivia in the middle of a telephone conversation. Her mother’s companion is pleased and confides in her interlocutor that she has already prepared the room. Louis is trying to find out more, but if it’s good news, Olivia wants to make sure it’s coming through before she announces it. In this episode of Here It All Begins, Louis is convinced that the two women want to adopt and immediately talks to his mother about it. Claire is amazed: A project like this was never to be thought of. Her son deduces that Olivia will adopt by her side, but Claire doesn’t agree. Her companion would definitely have spoken to her. She therefore decides to make things clear, and Olivia reassures her: she simply wants to welcome troubled students who can reintegrate by taking courses at the institute. The two women take the opportunity to talk about babies. The idea has already crossed Olivia’s mind, but she has no regrets about not being a mother. Claire is relieved, she was afraid that a child would come and undermine their intimacy.
Third-year students eagerly await Teyssier’s verdict on episode 608 of Here It All Begins, which airs Friday 24 February on TF1. They are the crane foot in double A and Emmanuel lets them languish thirty minutes late. Antoine is surprised to see them reunited and sends a message to Teyssier with no reply. Touched by the students’ pleas, he finally reveals the truth to them: they were all excellent, and Emmanuel abuses them lest they be overpowered. The promo decides to pull a nasty prank on their director. The third years therefore lead him to believe that by not seeing him arrive they concluded that they were all being expelled and had already packed their bags. Emmanuel has to admit that they did well and that he is happy to have spent two and a half years with them. He’ll be proud when they graduate.
