A few hours before the opening of the Maison Gainsbourg at 5 Rue de Verneuil in Paris, Charlotte Gainsbourg was in the premises of Release. She came this Monday, September 18th, with her own photos: a duo of Gitanes and Zippo, a portrait of Serge and Jane on the keys of a piano, perfume bottles with a very special meaning, a doll or an armchair in which we not I don’t really sit down … Charlotte Gainsbourg offered us her photos, unpublished and secret, as well as the interior of her childhood home for a long time. By making these detailed photos available to the public and making sure to comment on them for readers LibeCharlotte Gainsbourg once again invites us to enter the privacy of her father’s home.

You can hear him commenting on these images in the recording at the top of the article. Like a foretaste of the audio tour of the house, which we enter thanks to a sound tour through our memories and our vision.
