A look back today on VMDN at these last 12 months of conflict and its aftermath with some of the world’s fiercest editorial writers, commentators able to inspire, and often push, revolt, compassion and sometimes even laughter with a few pencil strokes where it hurts

L’Association Internationale « Cartoons for Peace », which brings together around 281 cartoonists and flies the banner of freedom of the press, is preparing – in collaboration with Amnesty International and France Médias Monde – the publication of a collection preceded by the journalist Pierre Haski.

It brings together 120 press cartoons that sometimes offer us bizarre, often sharp, never indifferent views of the war in Ukraine. The title sounds like an imperious admonition: Leave us alone! », it is published by Gallimard Editions.
