Who is the influencer being stalked by the rapper?

BOOBA. In his war on those he calls “influencers,” rapper Booba takes on former reality TV contestant Dylan Thiry, whom he accuses of pimping, racism and child trafficking.

Following Magali Berdah and many of those he calls “influencers,” Booba attacks Dylan Thiry. For the past few days, the rapper has been taking to Twitter to specifically denounce the alleged actions of the influencer, a former reality TV contestant who made his debut on the show in 2017 Koh Lantaon TF1.

Dylan Thiry was already talking about him in leather moccasins in the sand. Since then, the 28-year-old has appeared on several French reality TV programs including The Mansion of Broken Hearts on TFX, The Marseillais VS the rest of the world or The princes and princesses of loveon W9.

Since these appearances on the small screen, Dylan Thiry has repeatedly made a name for himself as an influencer, mainly because of his humanitarian commitment. It was precisely at this point that the rapper Booba attacked him, accusing him of upsetting the population he is supposed to help, like in Turkey and Syria after the 2023 earthquake or in Madagascar.

What does Booba accuse Dylan Thiry of?

On social media, rapper Booba shared several audios with the AVI Collective that he claims are Dylan Thiry’s to help victims of influencers. In these notes, the influencer explained his “virtual pimping” project by becoming “MYM mac” (a social network where people can monetize videos and photos, content often labeled as pornographic).

“The chicks here in Dubai (…) most chicks are whores (…). And there is a way to get them out of there, to stop being a whore, c is to start a MYM. That means that the whore earns less than 20,000 euros a month (…). Suddenly the whore is recruited. We let them do a MYM (…) and we give it 20%”, we can hear, for example, in one of the audios broadcast by Booba on Twitter.

In addition to these allegations of virtual pimping, the Duke has accused Dylan Thiry of racism – broadcasting other audio that would prove it – but also of child trafficking in Madagascar. In another recording, which he attributes to the influencer, we hear him explain his plan to ask “at least 100,000 euros” from Jazz from the JLC family, another French reality TV personality based in Dubai and an influencer ever since .

“I make sure they (Jazz and her husband Laurent) ask for 100,000 euros, the minimum, that’s really the minimum, and I tell them ‘Come to Madagascar’ and they give me 100,000 and I’ll do anything with it they can adopt and suddenly save a child,” the recording reads.

Dylan Thiry responds to Booba’s allegations

In a story posted to his Instagram account on Tuesday, April 25, Dylan Thiry admits to sending those vocals and accuses the person he sent them to of wanting to “smear” him . He denies completing the “virtual pimping” project, even though it was offered to him. “Beware of those around you,” the influencer tells his 1.5 million Instagram followers. “There are words but no actions. Not everything that was said was done,” he said.

Booba in the War on “Influencers”

On social media, since May 2022, the Duke of Boulogne has launched a crusade against reality TV influencers and their product placements, but also (and above all) against the agent of many of them, Magali Berdah, head of Shauna Events. The latter filed a complaint against the French rapper for cyberbullying at the end of May, before doing the same for slanderous denunciations and “denouncing a very lucrative system organized by Ms. Berdah: promoting more or less dubious commercial deals, obsessively inciting plastic surgery and the profiling of personalities from reality TV related to court cases.

But the case does not end there, alongside the fight on social networks that has become legal, Booba’s attacks on influencers and Magali Berdah have not stopped. But on the contrary. The Duke of Boulogne continues to denounce the product placements of what he calls “influencers” using his 5.7 million Twitter followers, dubbed “raptis” (Pirates in Verlan). With many mocking tweets, kidnappings and publication of Magali Berdah’s address or telephone number. The latter says she has since been the victim of death threats and anti-Semitic insults. On June 2, 2022, she had Booba’s Instagram account blocked.

But the rapper isn’t giving up and has also launched an email address to collect testimonials from buyers of products sold by influencers. The rapper refers to “dropshipping,” the practice of reselling a more expensive product imported from Asia. The case is also being reported to the highest authorities in the state: Bruno Le Maire, Minister for Economic Affairs, denounced these “online frauds” on Twitter, which he would like to report. In addition to Magali Berdah, Booba regularly attacks other French reality TV influencers, notably Maeva Ghennam or Illan.
