This Wednesday, May 1st, is the 134th Labor Day in France. Up to 150,000 demonstrators are expected, according to a statement from the secret services that Franceinfo was able to obtain. In addition to traditional demands for better working conditions and higher wages, unions will march for peace in Gaza and Ukraine and for a more “protective” Europe.
Southeast Asia is experiencing an “extremely dangerous” 50-degree heatwave, particularly in Bangkok, Thailand. This region of the world is highly vulnerable to climate change and could reach the threshold of 220 days of “extreme heat” per year if warming exceeds two degrees in the coming years.
And then the new series from the director of “Family Business” appeared on Netflix on Tuesday. In “Fiasco” Igor Gotesman tells the story of a film shoot that doesn’t go as planned. Pierre Niney plays a very annoying director looseser, but also very funny.
