What are we listening to this weekend? The playlist of music releases

This week’s program includes new music releases, international pop, rap and some French gems.

This rainy weekend, make room for the playlist of the week’s new music releases! In this last week of February and in anticipation of spring, many artists are unveiling new releases, albums and other singles. There’s a little bit on the agenda this Friday Selena Gomezback with a title called Keep lovingbut also the eagerly awaited new album from the Americans MGMT, loss of life.

Also note this week in the playlist of the releases of the week on the French artists page a remix of Désenchantée by Mylène Farmer from DJ Feder, the first solo single from Sylvain Duthu from Boulevard des Airs or the new clip from Eddy from Pretto. Selena Gomez – Keep loving

During a stopover in Paris, singer Selena Gomez announced the release of the single Keep lovingwhich follows the previous one Soon to be single. And so, in broken French, the American star decided to tease this publication on X – formerly Twitter: “What will I call you? I will call you. Love, tender love.” We actually come out with a title that speaks of love and announces the impending release of a new album whose release date we don’t know.

MGMT – loss of life

After a six-year absence, the American group MGMT returns with a highly anticipated fifth work called “ loss of life and published this Friday. The program on this CD includes ten new tracks and a duet – the first of her career – with the French singer Christine and the Queens, on a piece called Dancing in Babylonreleased with a music video.

Mylène Farmer von Feder – Disillusioned

The unexpected collaboration of the day is that of Feder and Mylène Farmer, who had already collaborated on the album disobedience. The French producer and DJ confiscated a monument to the singer, Disillusioned, in an intoxicating version. For this performance, Mylène Farmer re-recorded her voice for the first time. Mylène Farmer will perform at the Stade de France on three sold-out nights on September 27th, 28th and October 1st.

Sylvain Duthu – Free MP3 Download prolog

On the occasion of his solo debut after the adventure “Boulevard des Airs”, Sylvain Duthu released his very first single, a song with the apt title prolog, a harbinger of a future album. An introspective track between pop and electro that announces an intimate record.

Eddy de Pretto – Emergencies 911

Eddy de Pretto continues to promote his latest album, Crash heartoffers a clip of his latest single Emergencies 911. The video, directed by Arthur King, is a tribute to Agnès Lassalle, a Spanish teacher in Saint-Jean-de-Luz who was murdered by one of her students last year.

And the artist comments: “When I came across the video of a man – the husband of Angès Lassalle, note d. Editor – when I come across a last dance alone during his wife’s funeral, I am immediately moved and suddenly overcome with shock.” Existential question: Will we always dance together, even after death? Do our hearts keep dancing? This unanswered question was a real driving force for writing this piece, to try and poetize a painful situation.
