The musical “Chicago” premieres in Milan, backstage pictures – Corriere TV

From Thursday, October 5th, at the National Theater Che Banca! by Milan Chicago The Musical starring Stefania Rocca and directed by Chiara Noschese. An exciting and captivating show that transports the audience to the roaring metropolis of 1920s Illinois thanks to a unique mix of jazz, spectacular songs and surprising choreography. “Chicago The Musical” is considered not only one of the most famous theatrical performances on Broadway, but also one of the most famous and long-lasting, having been performed in over 25 years in 36 countries and won 6 Tony Awards in the category “Best Director”, “Best Choreography” and “Best Revival of a Musical”, 2 Olivier Awards, a Grammy and thousands of standing ovations. Written by three excellent writers John Kander (music), Fred Ebb (lyrics and libretto) and Bob Fosse (libretto, direction and choreography), it is produced by Stage Entertainment and Matteo Forte, fresh from the success of the last two years with Pretty Woman and Sister Act. “I have always loved trying out different genres,” explained Stefania Rocca, “which allow an actress to interpret in many ways the relationship with the body and the desire to communicate with the look and the voice.” This Musical is a test that combines all of these elements in an extreme and challenging way.”
