Addresses “Gourmet and meticulous at affordable prices”. The Michelin Guide published a list of 56 restaurants with “good deals” across France on Monday February 26, three weeks before it is due to award its famous stars. The focus is on the “bistronomic” trend and the good price-performance ratio.

At these addresses the price for a complete meal without drinks is no more than 40 euros. “In an economic context characterized by inflation and rising food prices, it is appropriate to highlight these efforts.”, emphasized the international director of the Michelin Guide, Gwendal Poullennec. According to him, it’s not about that “Little Star”but of addresses “Where you can really have fun”.

The vast majority of these addresses are outside Paris and Ile-de-France. In this campaign, Brittany stands out particularly for its dynamism with 10 new “Bib Gourmands”, followed by the regions of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Among the notable trends in this new selection is the continued rise of bistro cuisine, a style of cooking that combines bistro classics with gourmet preparation methods.
