There was a time when the surname Busquets meant thinking of a goalkeeper. A young man discovered by Johan Cruyff in Barca’s youth team, who eventually made the first-team squad between the years ’90 and ’98. Little did he know then that the surname would be printed on a Barça shirt for many years to come, that lluiria would be his son and that his surname ‘Busquets’ would be popularly renamed ‘Busi’. Today, Barça captain Sergio Busquets announces his departure after 15 seasons in the first team.
