Science and Imagination to See What We Haven’t Seen – Corriere TV

The meeting in «Corriere della Sera» with the physicist based on the book «White Holes. In the horizon» (Adelphi)

We know what happens at the rim and in black holes, already predicted by Einstein’s theory, but we don’t know if white holes exist: the journey of science is really trying to understand and see what we haven’t seen yet. In this video an intervention by Carlo Rovelli during a visit to the “Corriere della Sera” on the occasion of the publication of his book white holes. Within the Horizon (Adelphi), an essay in which the physicist “exposes personally what it means to try to see what we have not yet seen: it takes imagination as well as science”. That is why his text is a journey into the wonders of physics, often reminiscent of another poetic journey that the scientist is very fond of, that of Dante in the “Divine Comedy”. (Ida Bozzi)
