Poland will be Guest of Honor at LIBER 2023

MADRID, May 24th. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The next edition of LIBER, event organized by Ifema Madrid and the Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain (FGEE)which will take place at the exhibition center from October 4th to 6th, will also include the participation of Poland as Guest of Honour.

In this way, according to the organizers, Poland will become one of the great protagonists of Liber 2023. The Book Institute, a public institution of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, in Cooperation with the Polish Cultural Institute based in Madridhas organized a prominent presence at LIBER, with the main aim of promoting and spreading the Polish edition in Spain, as well as promoting the country’s prominent authors and publishers.

Poland will have a 120 m2 stand where 20 Polish publishers will take part, presenting the wide range of publishing innovations in the country. Next to, Poland is preparing a comprehensive professional program with presentations and discussionsto exchange perspectives and experiences with professionals from the Spanish and Latin American book industry.

Topics include, but are not limited to, the development of children’s literature, book launch programs; new phenomena on the book market. There will also be a tour of the new Polish books.

This invitation to Poland is part of the Fair’s and FGEE’s efforts to strengthen the internationalization of the book sector and establish closer cultural and commercial ties with markets with great potential for Spain.
