Music: “African Rhapsodies” by Seckou Keita, fusion between African and Western music

It’s an extraordinary 13th album for Seckou Keita, the tireless defender of the kora, with 80 concerts a year around the world and millions of streams. In African RhapsodiesThe Senegalese combines the 22 strings of his Mandinka harp lute with a European symphony orchestra. Together with the BBC Concert Orchestra, one of the most eclectic in the UK, he fuses African and Western music in ten radiant tracks.
