Monographic works that analyzed oral performance

As part of the oral performance, this Wednesday in Donostia, at the seminar organized by the Euskaltzaindia and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, 7 bachelor’s and master’s theses of 2022 and 2023, as well as a monographic research work, were presented. The results of the research will be published on the Euskaltzaindia website next week.

These are the research papers presented at the Mintzola seminar organized by Euskaltzaindia: Pulunpa (e)ta Xin! Reception and Immersion Plan for Students of Spanish Origin (Odei Guirado); Didactic proposal for the development of expressiveness: imitation games (Iñigo Otaegi); The Use and Attitude of Code-Switching Among Basque Speakers (Mikel Pérez); Looking for traces of linguistic confusion in Basque (Ainhoa ​​​​Leyaristi); The Speech of the Youth of Pamplona (Audrey Serrano); Beasain’s youth language is examined: The influence of context on code switching (Maddi Aiestaran); The use of the ergative in Basque-Spanish code switching (Endika Uriarte); The Aldude-Urepele language (Oier Urreizti); Age-related lexical variation in the Imo language (Alazne Fernandez de Muniain).

In addition, the studies carried out by the Basque Academy in collaboration with other organizations were presented in the evening: on the one hand, Idurre Alonso, Odei Guirado and Aritz Bereziartua presented the first results of the ARIKALA action research to promote friendly relations Basque and measure the impact of the interventions. Garbiñe Bereziartua and Beñat Muguruza then analyzed the diagnosis of heat stroke and ways and formulas to promote the use of heat. Finally, Miren Artetxek and Garbiñe Bereziartua examined the imbalance between Spanish and French in the expressiveness of the daily speech of Basque adolescents and presented the results of this research.
