“Kasbatek” by Abdul & The Gang and Gnawa-Funk

Originally from Boudnib, a small village in Morocco in the Ksar Souk of Er Rachidia, Abou Ben Salem (aka Abdul) returns with his group Abdul & The Gang for a second album of traditional Gnawa music, Chaâbi melodies and Afrobeat Arrangements back.

Without further ado, we embark on a joyful, festive journey into the sands of the Sahara with a unique and mixed style that we might call Gnawa Funk. Gnawa rhythms, Berber, Arabic, French words. Groove, Chaâbi melodies, funk and Afrobeat arrangements that make you want to move, dance, smile, laugh and have fun.

A truly unique musical cocktail that Abdul & The Gang offer us to introduce their new album: “ earn money “. They will perform next Friday March 8th at the Studio de l’Ermitage in Paris.
