Sidonie Perceval, an established French writer, gave up writing after the loss of her husband. When she is invited to Japan to reprint her first book, she is greeted by the local publisher who accompanies her to Kyoto, the city of shrines and temples. As she moves among the flowers of the Japanese spring, she slowly begins to open up. But her husband’s spirit won’t let her down. Sidonie must learn to let go of the past in order to love again.
