Joachim Lafosse, director of “Un silence”: “The message doesn’t make a film, it’s the writing”

Joachim Lafosse is a Belgian filmmaker whose successive works depict the destruction of the family unit. The last, A silence, which hits theaters this Wednesday, January 10th, delivers a new twist. Inspired by a recent news story that made headlines in Belgium. A silence shows how a middle-class family, good in every respect, falls apart when the depravities of one of its members come to light.
