Forty years later Drag Navythe actress releases a second CD on which she performs duets with Gaëtan Roussel, Etienne Daho and Benjamin Biolay.
Recorded under the direction of Serge Gainsbourg, Isabelle Adjani’s first album in 1983 was a huge success thanks to the hits drag navy etc Ohio. Twenty years after this futureless adventure, Isabelle Adjani had begun preparing her return to the ether by working with Pascal Obispo. An unfinished project to which the two collaborators returned 17 years later.
Released in November 2023, the album will consist of duets with singers Etienne Daho, Benjamin Biolay, Daniel Darc (who passed away in 2013) and Christophe, who passed away in 2020. The first excerpt on this CD is a duet with the ubiquitous Gaëtan Roussel. The leader of Louise Attaque, this versatile collaborator (Daniel Auteuil, Alain Bashung, Vanessa Paradis, Rachid Taha and many others) gives her the answer. The choice of this first track, with a very pop tone, is quite surprising and doesn’t seem very representative of the rest of the album.
