Three car brands (Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and BMW) are among the 10 most valuable in the world in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2023 ranking, while Tesla, Honda, Hyundai, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Ford, Nissan, Ferrari and Kia are included one of the 100 most valuable brands in the classification.

Specifically, Toyota is the most valuable automobile brand, occupying sixth place with a valuation of 64,504 million dollars (58,953 million euros at the current exchange rate), 8% more in value than a year ago, followed by Mercedes-Benz, which occupies seventh place with an increase in value of 9% to 61,414 million dollars (56,119 million euros), while BMW closes the “top 10” with a value of 51,157 million dollars (46,746 million euros).

In addition, Tesla is in twelfth place with 49,937 million dollars (45,634 million euros) and an increase of 4% compared to 2022, while the next company Honda is in 27th place with 24,412 million dollars (22,304 million euros) and an increase of 7% is , with the South Korean brand Hyundai taking the thirty-second place in the ranking, recording an increase in value of 18% to 20,412 million dollars (18,653 million euros).

There are three other brands in the “Top 50”, all from the German Volkswagen Group: The frontrunner is Audi in 45th place with 16,352 million dollars (14,944 million euros), 9% more; Porsche follows in 47th place with an increase in value of 20% to 16,215 million dollars (14,818 million euros). The Volkswagen brand finished in 50th place in the ranking with an increase of 2% and a value of 15,140 million dollars (13,838 million euros).
